Sorry for my last post (any answer expected ?) i was wrong assuming this great place is like a free knowledge supermarket.
i really admire all of you on this forum and as a sound engineer i will do my best to help anyone on the subject if needed.
I recently created a production company with friends and our plan is to build our production suite in the country in the centre of France near Sancerre (do you like white wine ?)
we are going to buy this place (see pictures) and renovate this big barn on the right
you can see all the dimensions on the plans
i will ask a lot of questions during the process and i am planning to put here a lot of pics and infos about the ongoing work
My first question:
the tracking (or live room) will have a peaked (or two slopes, i don't know the exact term in english) roof:
how do i calculate room modes and tr for such a volume ?
Thanks for help it would be greatly appreciated
Philippe

For the modes use the average of the height. If youa re3 unfamilar with calculating the area of triangles. I strongly suggest getting at least familair with mathematics invlolved. preferrably an engineer or architect type person.
