Does anyone have any experience in design for a medium-sized overdub / mix room that would be built in an office condo / office park type set-up?
The space (1500 sq ft) is on a common slab to all other tenants and has a fire-wall on one side and a standard 2x4 sheetrock wall on the other that are both common to the tenants on the other sides. However on the sheetrock wall, a closet sits between the control room and the wall.
Given this type set-up, I'm inclined to think we are in for a nightmare with sound isolation issues (ie. keeping the neighbors happy), but I'm wondering if anyone has had succes in this type of setup.
Thanks,
Todd

With all of the studios going under and rooms for sale and/or lease in Nashvile, why would you build a room? There are million dollar rooms sitting empty right now?
