Allora, Ill jump right into this, I see alot of really good designs here, but I was wondering if anyone has ideas for a basic studio. I want just a basic one that sounds good the only thing that Im really worried about is acoustics. Im not recording anything really besides demos plus i can do that in my friends (his isnt big enough for us all to play in at the same time), we really just need a place to jam and record so we can see what we need to work on. Once I get it started, Ill make it more complex. I also want to build a stage in the back, but that i can deal with later.
spoo - can you give us some idea of your space?? without a plan we a just guessing. cheers john
Sorry, I ment to the walls slightly differ in length the two long walls are first one is 24ft and the other is 23 and a half the back wall is 15ft 4 inches, and the other one is 15ft, (the garage door is 10ft, and the little part on the left side is 3ft 9.5inches, and the other side is 1ft 2.5inches the ceiling is only 7ft 5inches The floor is brick if that does ya anygood I dont know really how to say this but the walls look like thin concret, but are hollow, does that seem right?
