The room will also be for practicing.
One large room to use for a control AND practice room? Or Two rooms, one for each?
Well thats the thing, I think I would like to put up some walls for a control room and leave some open space. I wish there was a program for designing a a studio lay out.
Any other input?
Oh wow, did you se their stuido plans? Very cool!
First - could you please update your profile and tell us where you are - it really matters. I'm confused with the size of your room - your drawing doesn't scale out to 21 x 27 as you origionally stated and I can't work out the scale from your drawing. cheers john
Sorry about that. My first drawing I just did the over all useable space not the complet outline. This new one I did the complet room outline with the unuseable space like washer rooms, bathrooms etc.. The whole room with everything comes to 27x27. Sorry for the confusion. P.S. My bad its 24feet x 27.
Oh hey, where are you guys getting the studio desk objects for your layouts? Thanks

Thanks very much!
I should add - that is an old design - the angle of the rear speakers has now changed from 110 to 135 degrees. cheers john
Do you think there will be a problem? If so to what effect? I could ajust the speakers independent of the walls.
