A four foor square room to record bass? I hope it's an upright bass, and a small one at that.
It doesn't appear to be to scale, is the lounge area pic below, the same as the the control room in the top pic?
It would probably be better to stick with a control room and live room, You'll be lucky to squeeze a vocal booth in there as well, and a drum room is out of the question, your 10ft X 8ft is a drum room in itself, barely.
If you've got a digicam, take some pics and post them up, so peeps can get a better idea of what you've got to work with.
Oh, and you'd better update your profile to include your location, otherwise you'll get nagged.
Cheers

the drum room will be outside i have a shed thats abut 15x 20 and im building a room inside of that.. the lounge area is really some chairs and some bar stools for people.. when i get the chance i will take some pics. but the booth is more just for the amps.. the player will be playing outside in the control room.. it works until i have the money to buy a warehouse or something til then this will work.. give me some more ideas..!
15 x 20 is about the same size as my garage, should get a couple of rooms out of that easily. Unfortunately I've only got use of a 10 x 14 corner, so no control room for me
What materials are you using for soundproofing, acoustic treatment etc?
that was the main reason i posted.. i wanted to see what would be the best material for it... i dont want to over treat it and have it dead but i dont want it to live either... i just want it right. but im building a room within a room so ill just have to see what sounds the best for me... so what do yall think about it so far???
You should read the SAE site first and try to get as much out of that as you can just so you understand what you are doing.
http://www.saecollege.de/reference_material/index.html
There you can also find some studio layouts to begin with.
You also need to give a lot more info about the space before Steve or anyone can even begin to help you(wall+ ceiling+ floor material/construction etc.)
And reading the other posts will help you a lot too.
Pictures are always nice...
