Next to my home there a car acoustics company. www.carcoustics.de the rubbers they don't need are collected or stored and then they throw away it. I have 3 kind of foams. Can I use it for something? Does car acoustics foams work on anything?
IF its the rubber that is used for door seals, it can be (probably) used for STUDIO door seals; possibly also for seals in windows; but NOT for floating floors, insulation, or acoustic treatments - floating floors need higher density, and insulation/acoustic treatments need to be OPEN celled (you can blow through them) Steve
Pics about the three kind of foams/rubbers they use for cars isolation. Not only used for car door, used for motor hood isolation too...and trunk isolation... What do you think?? The small one is adhesive, foam in the middle is more dense than the right one...

Steve gave yiou the honest answer. Can probabaly be used for door seals and maybe window sealing. Not for floors! Andre
thanks Andre, I posted the pics because the small one is similar than neophrene but I don't know exactly. Thanks for replying  I will only use it only for door seals
