Hi All Started this in the wrong forum and got a roasting  I have learn't my leason and moved here ... could someone help at all with the following? Hi All I have the opportunity to build from scratch, a new studio. I am not sure what you can get in a 20'x30' layout. I can see many designs on the site but I was wondering if any of the more experienced members could point me in the direction to links where some layouts would meet my criteria. I need a control room, live room a vocal booth and a chill out room, if possible a toilet. Can it be done in the space? Then I added the following... I am based in the UK - Surrey. I have a 100 x 40' garden and I will be looking to build a brick building 30x20' at the end. I have neighbours surrounding me the nearest being approx 2m. I would like to be able to utalise the studio 24/7 if necessary so sound isolation to the outside wall is important. I would like to have 3 rooms if possible, Control room, Live room and chillout/kitchen. Not sure about this though as my space is limited. Height may be restricted due to planning permission but I am assuming I need a min height for air con. I currently use a 16' x 12' shed which holds all my gear which I have converted. I have to compromise on sound leakage and hours of use but get by. I do not currently have air con but really need it for the summer ( yes it does get warm in the UK sometimes !) as the shed becomes a sauna after 1/2 hr or so. Any tips on this would be greatful also. I have looked at the SAE designs and one of the garage studio 1 layout looks good. http://www.saecollege.de/reference_material/index.html. I am not sure I need a vocal booth as well as a live room though and would preferre a control room, live room, chill out/kitchen maybe with a toilet. In the dims provided ie 30x20' do you think I can get adequate space and has anyone done something similar and can share a plan ? Thanks in advance Neal
A bit more bluntly: as I wrote in my FIRST POST to you in the other forum, update your profile so that people as they read messages will know where you are without having to read all of the posts! That little bit may make the difference between someone not posting witht he answer to a question you have and not posting! Emphatically; Andre
and can share a plan ?
perhaps if you were to share YOUR plan we might feel like helping ;) This is NOT a get free design forum. cheers john

Not to get defensive, but I thought we were pretty respectful (firm but fair) on your original post.
Since it bears repeating... I wrote:

Again, good luck. :?
