I buy 6 doors but that doors are not very good for isolation . Doors are made of aluminium with MDF (i think) or similar between the tho leaves of aluminium. It has framed all the perimeter and a ruber strips on it. Today I went to a doors warehouse and found a very thick FIREBREAK doors made of rockwool and a kind of metal (don't know what). And it are so cheaper that the doors I bought but, the problem is... this doors as no frame down the door  . Is dificult to do a frame for the bottom of the door? the doors in the pic are NOT the firebreak doors.

Best for sound doors is NO threshold, just a flat surface - then use these http://www.zerointernational.com/educat ... sp?page=14 Notice the picture on the left? See the big GAP in the aluminum, under the aluminum part? This MUST be filled with plumber's putty or other heavy-bodied fill, or you will have sound loss thru there... Steve
but this company has no dealer in spain  there no hand made way? :( ...
If you're careful... Steve
