insulation products

I was wondering if any one has used any of these products. http://www.owenscorning.com/around/soun ... mblies.asp :D

Welcome to the forum, fellow Sacramentan! :D Do a search for keyword quietzone and you'll find several posts in which QuietZone was mentioned specifically. Overall, the consensus on those products (and others in that "high end" category) are that they are overpriced, compared to what you can do with conventional materials and extremely careful construction techniques. Have you checked out the Don't Even Think... and Reference Area posts? Definitely some great stuff in there (and it's also great insurance against being smacked with blunt objects in "asked and answered" situations"). :-)
