I got a lovley little mixing environment... and it doubles as a front room!!
so i dont realy want to switch my enviroment about.. (ie mixing along the long wall)
i was just wondering if you can give me some clues on any acustic treatment you may add to make my lisening environment better!
as its a front room it already had carpets and a sofa ect..
i also run a sub in the corner at low volumes...the sub is by the double glazzing in the corner!

This is the thing.. its gana sound silly but theres not much i dont like about the room.. there is the normal bass boosting in the corners.. and bass drop in the middle of the room.. however there must be somthing that i can do just to make the room better!! or more trusting.. its just i got the bands next album to mix and anything cheap i can do will be great!! i thought id enclose some pictures of the actule room!! enjoy checking it out.. AND EXCUSE THE MESS!! For a living room, check out realtraps.com. They can help a room while looking fairly good. I'm not sure where you are -- from the .uk in your URLs, I'm guessing the UK, but please update your profile to include that - it makes it easier. Anyway, Realtraps has european distribution.

Are you going for true binaural sound? or are your speakers not really going to be to the sides of your console like that?
I notice they're not in the pictures, so maybe it's just a drawing thing.
Actualy.. what im doing to my desk is building a rack system into the desk each side of the monitor... so yes the speakers will be exactly were they are.. arr. ill draw another picture for you! LOL the dimentions may be a little odd but you should understand what i mean!
