Attached is a layout of a Control Room I am currently designing for a re-build. Thanks to many of you forum users, I have thus far avoided making several errors, and I would like to avoid making a few more, this time along the rear CR wall. As the front wall area of the CR will have horizontal slatt faced soffits and bass traps, I was hoping to continue the same type slatt facing along the entire rear CR wall surface area. This would help the interior design be somewhat more continious. Since the rear wall will not have soffits (the surrounds will be stand mounted when required!), what advice might you forum users have regarding my design idea to utilize Mr. Sayers' Corner Absorbers (see "Wall Units" on the forum) in the rear corners and cover them with the same type slatts as my front soffits will have, and to also use horizontal slatts to face the two rear " resonator" walls which form a point between the bass traps. - Jon E.
