Hi!
First I have to say, that this is a very excellent forum with great members and moderators.
Now my problem:
I'm planning building a studio in my cellar in my new house. The height of the room (see blank plan) is 2,35m. I haven't any idea how to plan recording room and control room in this plan.
Can anyone give me an idea? There are a lot of specialists here, so I think
that some members have very good solutions.
Sorry for my english.

Hello Helmut
first we must acertain what the poles do apart from holding up the upper floor.
It's possible to remove them and using steel beams create a clear space so you could layout something like this.
cheers
John
Hi John!
Thanks for your quick answer!
I think it's time to give you further information about the room and the situation NOW.
- through the left door you get in from outside (additional entrance)
- through the door in the middle you get in from the corridor (I think 85% used as entrance)
- The walls are concrete
So I can't remove something.
What do you think about my idea?
Thanx in advance

Helmut
well you can remove something ... like two poles ;) but I like your idea :) cheers johnSo I can't remove something. What do you think about my idea?
Hi John!
Thanks 4 your answer.
Would you do something special in the corners of this room?
I think there'll be a bass-problem behind the vocal booth where
I want to make my archive like books, cables, CDs etc. on the left side.
Should I make something at the ceiling?
Su much questions!!!!! But you are the professional Person!
I don't know who else can I ask about this!
Thanks in advance
Cheers Helmut
