well i hope this is the correct why to do this, and my layout is correct.
i have no issues with construction, but would like to keep this in the 10'x12' room, as well as use the closet as a isolation booth.
i plan to use this room as my mix room.
well let me know how off i am.
thanks
hope this layout works

what is the outer pale orange line - are you building a room within a room??

hi john
thanks for the replay
it is a 10' x 12' room with 2x4 construction walls filled with blown cellulouis, and 1/2'' sheet-rock, and ceramic floors.
my plan, is to build the forward bass traps with the speakers set on pedestals in the traps.
a slat resonator forward between the traps, and then slat resonators angling to the back of the room, filling the slat resonators with fiberglass insulation ( i think this is the orange you are asking about, but not sure ).
i was planning to seal the insulation with a cloth then install the slats.
also not shown is the ceiling which would be angled at 6 degrees filled with fiberglass, cover with cloth, and then slats as well.
well i will cut this off as i am sure you are very busy
thank you very much for this forum, it is very needed for sum of us.
pan.
the red grid lines are one foot, there was some grey grid lines at one inch on another layout, they are gone from this one. sorry for any confusion.
pan.
OK - so the grey walls already exist?
cheers
john
yes
Cool - I'd take those slots back as far as the door on both sides and then go with 703 cloth covered to the back of the room.
That rear door into the booth should also be deadened as much as possible also - otherwise it's looking good mate :)
where are you putting the slats in the ceiling?? and what height do you have ?
cheers
john
it is eight foot now and yes also putting slats
