Can one of you guys with a room design program run the basic size of the sae 4 room design (link below) into a 21x21 space and spit back what the dimensions of each wall in just the control room are. If I can get that right, I can lay everything else out around it. I can't seem to figure it out right or how to lay out the angles. I'm putting up false walls of blankets on mic stands, and putting everything in the space so I can see how big everything really is. I cant get the dimensions right for this space, especially my angles. The angles are much easier to grab with the proper dimensions already. If someone has this already or can run it easily, I would greatly appreciate it. I just dont ahve the tools.
Its either the corner control room deal with 4 rooms, or I want to divide it in half in best acoustical way possible.

Take a look at what John did for my plan (http://www.johnlsayers.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2880 ).
The only tools you need are a protractor ( 50 cents at the grocery store ), a decent calculator (maybe $10? at Radio Shack), and being able to remember geometry math class ( a long stretch for some of us :-) ). I'm sure there are some reference pages on the web.
*blech* I hate math, but it sure does come in handy sometimes!
if you have a pc you can download smartdraw and import the sae design into it. as long as you set the scale correctly it should tell you most of those dimensions
cheers,
