12X18X7 room and couple of questions?

Hi all! A great site to say the least! I have a 12x18x7 drywalled/cement floor room in the basement that I want to use for mixing but not live recording. There is a entry door along a long wall where it and a short wall meet. I would like info on wall treatment and am wondering if it could be movable. There is a fairly long reverb as you might expect!! The equipment has not been placed in the room as of this time, so I can alter to some degree. Thanks, Ross

Hi Ross - You're going to need to break up the 12x18 aspect of it somehow, since they're in ratio to each other (multiples of 6). Errr... past that... um... keep reading. :-) There's tons of info around here... Maybe a floorplan of your space?
