I'm about to start constructing a small studio in my basement. Initially I wa just going to split the room into two 11' x 16' rooms - one for the control room and one for the live room. Now I'm thinking that might be two many parallel walls. I'd really appreciate any other designs that people might be able to suggest given these dimensions. They could be either A) control room/live room or B) control room/live room/iso configurations.
Thanks,
Darren

Hey there. I'm plannig on building a studio with almost the same dimensions (17 1/2' X 22" with a five-by-five corner cut), and John S. gave me a floor plan improved in scale to what I originally wanted to do. In the "Acoustics" room, go to the thread "My Rough Studio Layout", and download the second floor plan :D
Good Luck
Ben
My studio will be on the left, the side without the stairs. none of the walls are built yet so it's a blank slate of sorts. As I stated earlier the room is basically 16' x 22' except fot that slanted wall. Any suggestions any one might have would be much appreciated.
Darren
Sorry, but the bottom of the stairs are at the top of the drawing. Please let me know if you can help.
Thanks,
Darren
