Are any of you running a dual computer monitor setup along with a surround sound monitor (speaker) setup? If so, how are you arranging things? I've got two 19" Viewsonic LCD monitors that I have right in front of me on the "meter bridge" of my Argosy console (for O2R96). So, they are spaced right around the center line and butted up against each other. I have a few pairs of stereo monitors... BM15A, KRK K-Rok (plus sub), and Auratone Cubes, which all work fine for stereo being on the outside of the LCD monitors (some on stands behind the desk). In the near future I want to upgrade to a surround sound monitoring system, probably the Blue Sky System 1, and am wondering what to do with that center speaker so that's it's not behind my LCD monitors. Do I suspend the surround sound monitors from the ceiling (which is only 8' 7")?? Or, do I separate the LCD monitors to make room for the center speaker?? I like having the LCD monitors next to each other for that extended desktop thing, but I guess I could separate them as long as they then don't interfere with the left and right speakers. Moving the LCD monitors back behind the speakers is not an option since I can barely read some of the text now (and I'm not even using the monitors at full resolution or I really couldn't read some of the text). I'd love to hear what any of you with surround sound are doing? Thanks! Steve
