How small could I make a vocal booth without getting it being really uncomfortable? Thanks.
How small can I make a Isolation vocal booth?

Impossible to answer. It all depends on the comfort level of you, or the singers in small spaces. Stand in small closets and note how feel.
Regardless, the acousitc treatment will be for a quite dead space.

I was just looking for a generalized answer. For example, whats the smallest room space you'd feel comfortable in?
You won't like the answer. As a youth, I used to skin dive (snorkel) in 10' deep water when the visibility was lass than 2" and dive to the bottom. I would be comfortable in a coffin space. Andrewhats the smallest room space you'd feel comfortable in?
"I would be comfortable in a coffin space" - me too, but it's gotta have some of my "home earth" on the bottom, or I get antsy
Mongoo, your question is so vague it's hard to even begin to answer meaningfully - are you talking about a booth where one non-claustrophobic person is just going to stand still and sing/rap, or one where a total klutz plans to sit on a stool and play guitar without ripping up the absorption on the walls, or one where 3 backup singers share the same mic and like to dance while they're singing?
Generally, from the questions I've seen from you so far, you should spend quite a bit of time here

This site was originally put together by John, then sold to SAE - it is pretty much a complete sound engineering course in one place, and if you study it thoroughly for a few years you can take my place here while I work on some of my own projects... Steve
