Rubber instead of neoprene?

I still haven't found neoprene in my country, where do can I buy it? Is rubber a valid material for floor first ply?

Greetings What country do you live in? What exactly do you want the elastomer for? There quite a few elastomer products such as Sylomer, EPDM, EAR products, etc Im sure one of them must be available unless you live in Antartica :) Paul

As Spain has some manufacturing, there's sure to be a demand for vibration isolation for heavy rotating machinary.
