Speaker Mounting

Hi guys, I am now in the construction phase of this project, Im about to spec some monitors for the studio, and consulted with a friend, who asked the question: If you mount the monitors inside the wall, how does the heat from the powered monitors dissipate? I wasent sure, first thing I wondered was, Do you use powered monitors in this setup? So thats my question, When I mount my speakers in the wall, do I use powered monitors or non powered?
