I'am new to this forum but I have read many great post's here that are very helpful and would like to thank all of you for your thoughts and ideas.
Some of the biggest studios around have walls totally covered with fabric, and the guys tell me its cheaper, and has less unwanted reflections.
Can someone tell me some pros and cons about the differents between covering your inner walls with all fabric vs sheetrock.
fabric or sheet rock for inside studio walls

Hi SH
Depends on what's behind the cloth :) .Cloth is usually fixed to a frame, which you would have filled with sound absorption material (rockwool....), for esthetical purposes (the cloth is not the rockwool)  .It wouldn't be pretty to see the rockwool directly...also to stop the fibres flying all around your room.If you replace the cloth with sheetrock, then you get those unwanted reflections your friends are telling you about.
