Hey John, you might be able to help on this one, I'm trying to figure out whether to build the traps exactly as shown in your plans, or do i need to tweak values?

Question for John about his DIY absorbers

If what you mean is "can you change the front angle to fit" well yes you can. As Steve said it won't have the depth but will work OK.
cheers

Sorry, should have been more descriptive, I'm past the corner trap question now.
What i need to know is whether I can go with the slat height and spacing values you provide, or if I should be getting into calculations to figure those out. I linked the thread because it shows the room in question.
Thanks for your time
Ok I am semi back from road gigging, Hey dud glad to hear things are moving along.
here is what I did for my slats. I varied the spacing from 1/8" to 1/2"
so I had some space at 1/2", 1/4" and 1/2"
Worked great.TOwards the bottom i did a tad bit of spacing at 3/4" (just 2 of the gaps. :) )
Hope that helps.
Now so far as height not sure what you mean?
Johns plans say to use 2", 3" and 4" slats, but you answered my main question.
Thanks
I'll post some pics soon.
Yeah for the DIy's just vary the slats as well along with the spacing. Makes a nice visual pattern in addition to it's acoustical properties.
