Attached is a rough plan of my control room. On the back wall I have two large feature windows (in blue) that I can't build over.
What I am going to have to do is make two or three moveable gobo type bass traps that I can place at the back of the room to soak up LF energy and stop the reflections of the windows. (these traps are showen in red).
Questions: not ideal I know but will this work?
Design: I was thinking about a 2x4 lightframe with 703 inserted in the as panels on coasters so I can move them out of the way when I am not tracking or mixing to make the room look semi normal again.
I am thinking that the air gap behind these gobo's may also help the situation?
Thanks again
Moveable bass trapping

No reason that won't work John - either 703 or mineral wool, the heavier the better, and yes the extra air gap will lower the usable frequency for trapping... Steve
