Okay, I have finally got a floor plan of the studio I am going to build (due to various stupid reasons it's turned out to be tougher than pouring and raking out 15 tonnes of concrete!).
I would like the following...
To record to a high-quality demo standard (I dont think I will ever want to get other bands in - it's just not big enough).
To rehearse with a 5 piece band (2 guitars, 1 vocals)...
And most importantly...
NOT TO PISS OFF THE NEIGHBOURS!
I've been wondering whether to build a drum booth and have the control room as a rehearsel room.
I dont think the space will be big enough to record a band "live" (although I may be wrong).
I am putting it to the expertise on this board as to whether or not the space I have will support 1/2 or 2+drum booth (ideal)...
Two rooms or 1 big room in my shed studio?

I reckon go for one room, you'll love the extra space when you rehearse and any problems you encouter when recording will be outweighed by the more relaxed environment you will have.
