I have a 40 x 20 shop with cement floor. The ceiling is pitched with rafters. Can someone help me out with a good floor plan. I've seen a few on this sight that are really nice. Kind of need something tailored for my shop. I'll try and get a picture later to help. thanks for your helps Praxam
Here is a starting point. A Plan close to your size floating around the forum This one is roughly 37x22 We need your spaced dimensioned out with entry locations & window locations and all the mesurements including ceilg ht at the end and at the center to be more accurate and helpful.

Thanks for your help. The ceiling is 10ft tall with rafters currently going across. My thought would be to insulate the pitched portion of the roof and drywall that and leave the rafters alone and maybe put a waved cloth format to cover the rafters? I have a large garage door opening where the live room is going, which we plan on making a custom door. I will try and get you a photo soon, but im kind of computer stupid. Hope this helps somewhat. Will get you more soon, again Thanks. Prax
Good start. Visit the forum around for what to do with your ceiling there is tons of info out here that directly relates to what you are doing, no need to rehash what is already written. As I said this plan is a strt. Only you know where your doors and windos are located so... We will awaiting that ruff diagram of your existing structures floorplan. :)
How do I post a picture? Trying to post a pic or two of my building for some advise. Thanks
Your Awesome Giles, thanks again. Prax

Ok nice sized space. So you only want a studio back there? No Toilet, etc... what about that opening, plans to close it off??
Were going to build a custom door, like the old castle style door for the garage door area. The building is plumbed with water and sewer with the main outlet set to the far center of the building( or the back wall as you look at it, not the side walls. Could run plumbing inside anywhere I guess. Wherever would be best. The other problem im seeing is that it's already electically down. So my assumption is that I can just pull from the orginal walls and re assemple in the CR and Live Room without to much difficulty. Thanks again Giles
Ok we need a diagram to show us where the plumbing is, etc.. locatin of doors, sizes, etc.. so we can help you better.
