I haven´t been able to find any photographs of any of these. judging from drawings they are pretty weird looking. Is the plywood with holes in it as good, that certainly seems to be an easier solution.
What does a slot resonator look like

Here is a pic of a resonator. (the wooded slats 6" and I believe 3" boards)

Hope that helps you out :)
Believe me these things are very easy to build even for a novice.Í thought there were supposed to be holes in them, how does the sound get thru these.
The space between the wood.Í thought there were supposed to be holes in them, how does the sound get thru these.
Oh there´s space, which is the preferred way the plywood with holes in different sizes or the way in the picture.
Either will work, but formula for calculating is different for each. Here is the corrected spreadsheet for calculating the slat types as shown in the picture -

Note that everything in the design affects the frequency center of the resonator -
There are basic plans for these here -

Hope this helps... Steve
I documented the process in building a slot resonator this weekend. The pix can be seen here:

heh... I did eventually bring that heat duct out to a register on the bottom panel.

Hey Kevin, maybe you could upload those pics to the forum, so they will always be associated with this thread, regardless of links?
Nice design, by the way! Looks really good. What frequency band are you covering with that?
