Wow - after 5 years of posting at other forums I've finally decided to run my own forum totally devoted to studio design and construction. Don't ask what large diaphram mic to use here or what's the best DAW - I've created the bullshit forum "The Wombat Hole" for that kind of rubbish plus anything else you want to talk about. I must thank PeterBayley for providing the server and setting up this forum. Thanks Peter, I'm sure you'll meet him on the boards as they say. I really don't intend to moderate this site as I don't think it should be necessary. cheers John
Hey John :D ! Thanx for providing such a great and informative platform for knowing and understanding. I am sure in upcoming dayz it will full with the posts and you must have to appoint some more experst for assisting you in giving solution. Best of Luck and Regards ! I have also mailed you regarding information you asked me to send. Looking forward for your reply. luv charoo

Hey John, which is better, PC or Mac 8) No seriously, it's great to see that you got a forum up and running. The "other place" can get a bit crowded at times and I'm looking forward to seeing some new questions and answers in this brave new world. Cheers /Ola

hello john, congratulations with this beautiful site. and that goes for the design also. very tasteful! as home-recording guitarist i'd like to know if it's possible to use my (little; ca. 6x2.5 meters!) 1st floor-room as my home-studio, but i'll do that in another thread - or maybe this one! great site, i'll be back! cheers!

welcome will - hope to hear from you :) cheers john
Hey I'm here too 8) John thanks for making this happen, you have no idea how your stuff has helped me so far in understanding studio design and construction. This site is an unvaluable tool for the newcomers, wether we look for help, ideas or comfort (and you guys know the immensity of the task calls for a good dose of comfort sometimes!). Keep groovin'!
"all we need now is Steve " - Ask, and the dumb shit finally finds ye... Just found this kinda by accident, looks really good John - I've really appreciated all the practical "actually done it" stuff I've learned from you so far, plannin' on hangin' out here regular-like. I'm hoping to pick at least two brains I've seen so far, yours and Thomas Barefoot's - Who knows, maybe by the time I get to break ground I'll actually know enough to know I know nuttin... Again, congrats on an excellent new (old) resource... Steve
welcome Steve - Thomas and I are handling it all by ourselves so your input in answering questions (which you do very well) will be appreciated. cheers john
Glad to be here John, I've definitely been thrown out of a LOT WORSE places :=) Steve
Brilliant John!, Thanks. I've enjoyed your site for ages and was devistated when I couldn't connect to the old URL, but here you are! with a forum to boot!!. Stefan Nowak
Thank you Stefan - what actually happened was my dear old ISP sent me notification that my home page had been changed. Just take out the ~ she said and it'll work!!!  So if you go to the old site address and remove the ~ it'll work!! you get a redirection to this site anyway :) cheers john
