Hi guys!
Im very close to buying all the materials needed to start this build, and before I pull the trigger Id like to confirm that this product will do something useful in the cavity of my MSM design?

Previously I had used rockwool, but I remember reading that less dense, fluffier material is better in the wall cavity - Is this correct?
If so, the price difference between this and an 'acoustic roll' is significant.

thanks in advance. I really dont want to mess this build up! :-)

For mineral wool, you want something in the region of 50 kg/m3. But if you are using fiberglass (not mineral wool), then it should be in the range of about 30 kg/m3. Heavier is better for absorbing higher frequencies, lighter is better for lower frequencies. The above are optimal for cavity insulation, not necessarily for other things. - Stuart -I remember reading that less dense, fluffier material is better in the wall cavity - Is this correct?
