how would i go about soundproofing a room? not so much for acoustics inside the studio, but to keep some or all of the sound from resonating through the rest of my house.
thanks! :D

You didn't give us too much information, so this reply will be pretty short...
Make your space air-tight, and put up heavy walls. *shrug* that's the basics of it.
well, i'm wondering about a house i have yet to buy. i imagine it will be a basic drywalled, square room that i use. perhaps a spare bedroom or something of that nature. nothing very fancy.
any tips to make it air-tight? and what do you mean by heavy walls?
sorry, i'm completely new to studio design.
