Hi, this may sound like a stupid question but I'm just in the middle of constructing a super door. I have a double stud wall ,
One wall is from my room within a room and the other is a partition wall.
Do i attach door to inner wall ( room within a room ) or outer partition wall.
Thanks and sorry for dumb question

super door position

If you have a double stud wall, then why are you just doing one door? It would be much better to have two doors, back to back, with one on each leaf. Doing a single superdoor means that you have no choice but to join the two leaves at the door frame, and hang your door from that.
Are you following Rod's design for the door?

Thanks for the speedy reply Stuart,
I was going to try and use Rods design for a super door as it would cut down on the cost of seals for me and then when i have more funds maybe go for the double door assembly if the super door wasn't quite as good as i expected. ( if you get what i mean ).
I also thought that i would have to join the 2 leaves together anyway as in Rods diagram ?
If you think i would be best with the double door then i might just go with that and try and make my own seals.
Thanks again
Barry
