Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am attempting to see if my wife is down for an acoustical upgrade to our media room. This would also serve as a mix room and project space for me.
There are some challenges, though. Namely, the door so close to the wall in the upper-right corner. The left side could easily be superchunked or folding panel. Maybe the right side could be a folding panel.
I would also like some input on the type of absorption/diffusion you see necessary and/or possible in this size room. I've tried to be as descriptive as possible in the picture, but let me know if I need to give any clarification.
As usual, the help/suggestion is greatly appreciated.
Jason

I would like to add that the challenge will be the aesthetics. I know I can make a few DIY traps and hang on the wall. I've done that in a previous room and she was less than excited about the look. I'm trying to step up the game with finish out and also be the most functional for the allotted space.
I would suggest doing a full REW test in that room first, to see how it is behaving right now, then based on that decide what treatment it needs. - Stuart -I would also like some input on the type of absorption/diffusion you see necessary and/or possible in this size room.
