Hello everyone, this is my first post! I'm throwing in this construction company of my study, I would be really happy to share with you the design and construction as you experience and professionalism! you are great!!
having this existing structure, according to you as it would be better to split the recording rooms?
I had thought of a floating wall in between, so you can open it in case of need, maybe to have a biggest recording environment !!
new "MOSAICO" studio in "tuscany" "italy" !!

Hi. Please read the forum rules for posting (click here). You seem to be missing a couple of things! :)

the outer walls are made of fine-grained concrete blocks like this
I had thought of this solution !!

Sorry for my English but I'm Italian!! :( :( :(
There is an announcement at the top of the forum about what to do to assure getting as many responses as possible to your thread. The announcement leads to this post (click here). Actually, several people, who are experts on this forum, will most likely not reply if you don't do what is written in that post. Hi, reset the topic, since nobody replied.
1-the study is located in an area where I have no noise issues with neighbours
2-the study will be used to professional recordings, mainly for rock, soul music, jazz
3-the size of the control room H 2.67 m 3.97 m L W 6.75 m 27 m 2 area
4-the existing exterior walls are concrete block's 25 cm
5-the study will consist of a control room and 3 live room
6-the budget is 20000€
making a calculation of resonant modes of control room came out different resonant frequencies, especially those very strong low :( :( :(
You can with hanger bass trap can be solved ??
Any sugestions ?? :( :( :( :( :( :( :(
so your neighbors don't make any noises that might be a problem if they get into your recordings? And you also have no problems with thunder, rain, hail, wind, aircraft flying over, cars leaving/arriving, traffic on nearby roads, people talking elsewhere in the building, phones ringing, radios, TV, water running, people walking, opening and closing doors, vacuum cleaner, etc, etc. ? All of those, and hundreds of others, are typical sounds that can cause problems in a recording studio. That's why studios are normally isolated well: so the mics don't pic up all those thousands of sounds that can destroy a good recording, or upset the musicians, or break the concentration of the mix engineer.1-the study is located in an area where I have no noise issues with neighbours
Soul and jazz, particularly, are types of music where you are recording instruments are fairly quiet levels, and wanting to capture a lot of ambient room sound, so isolation is very important for those.2-the study will be used to professional recordings, mainly for rock, soul music, jazz
That's a good ratio, and a reasonable size. The ratio is 1 : 1.48 : 2.53, which is close to Volkmann's and Bolt's ratio of 1 : 1.5 : 2.5.3-the size of the control room H 2.67 m 3.97 m L W 6.75 m 27 m 2 area
That's very good. It should be easy to get good isolation. What is the floor made of? Also concrete?4-the existing exterior walls are concrete block's 25 cm
Use Bob Gold's calculator for that: It's a lot easier to understand: http://www.bobgolds.com/Mode/RoomModes.htmmaking a calculation of resonant modes of control room came out different resonant frequencies, especially those very strong low
Yes, you can damp those modes with good bass trapping. It is impossible to make the modes go away, but you can damp them well with large bass traps (including hangers), and the results will be good. - Stuart -You can with hanger bass trap can be solved ??
