Hello,
I have a 22' X 24' 2-car garage, attached to the house (built in 1992). The garage ceiling height is 8'4", but there's a support beam going down the middle which lowers the ceiling in the middle by 11"(4" thick beam).
There's a gas furnace and a water heater next to each other on one wall. The floor is cement. I have about $10,000 to spend on design and construction.
I would like to build a room within a room for isolation. Isolation is important because it's my residence as well. I was advised to start with a control room and a large open space, then build other rooms as needed. But I know for sure I would like at least an iso booth for the drums.
The studio will be used for private instruction, demos, overdubbing sessions and mixdown. Please, someone point me in the right direction. I have the next two months off and would like to get it done ASAP! HELP!

Perhaps you could do a search for the 20 x 20 studio.
You really should draw up what you have in mind and we would be happy to offer suggestions but to ask outright for us to offer a plan is just silly - I could offer 4 or 5 ways to do it just based on the designs previously posted here.
You must lead mate - then we might follow.;)
cheers
