I'm planning build an inside out studio in a tiny, rented house. I think I will move in two years, I want most of things I built can easily move with me till then. So I intend to keep every assemblis small and independent, then I got this.
My rooms are 3.93m(L) x 2.92m(W) x 2.84m(H), and 3.93m(L)x3.32m(W) big.So far It's just about isolation, no sound treatment involved, because I have a question about seal. I 've upload my sketchup files, which are two versions of my timber frame. click here https://www.dropbox.com/s/6ay0mc6wfxt798s/inside%20out%20separated.skp and https://www.dropbox.com/s/ensfiigxohln7s8/inside%20out%20%20jointed.skp
"inside out separated" one means wood frames don't touch each other, so I can use sealing gun to seal the seams between plasterboard. "inside out jointed" one means wood frames are jointed, so I can only seal the timber instead of plasterboards, just because that I can't reach them. they look like these pics.
Please some good guys tell me which one is better? And I know I'm know little about studio design, if I make some serious mistakes, please just throw it on my face! I wanna make sure I'm walking on the right way.
And bout the air contdioner, I remember john says that this type of can't bring fresh air into room, I'm not sure about this. Every conditioner's remote control panel I've saw, alway have an feature called "通风", literally means keeping air circulating, any idea?
I really thank john here, you are a really kind man alway lend a hand to anyone who needs help, I'm really appreciate! Also thanks to every good folks here, you teach me alot and you are really rock! And sorry for my silly English~

Hi rabbitgeeks, i'm not an expert but maybe i can help you with my crap english (better wait for the experts anyway :D and better upload you files inside the forum and not links to other sites).
I can't download your files because of some problems with sketchup.
For what i know, the best (and the only) way is to build a room sealed everywhere and fully decoupled; if i understand your problem, you don't know how to seal the drywall.
Look here: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=6968&start=15
you can build the walls on the ground than raise them up, this should solve your problem.
Regarding HVAC you have different options, you don't want "air circulating" but "air exchange":
Suck bad air from your room and flow it outside and vice versa, take clean air from the outside and bring it in your room.
Search for "inverter" and do a search inside this forum and see all the different options that you have for this purpose.
Bye!!
