There is a diary with photos and small description of the construction process of a recording studio in Volos, Greece. Work begun in December. http://bab-studio.tumblr.com/
Hi "babagau", and welcome to the forum! :) I guess the biggest question is: How do you deal with the danger of fire from all that dry straw? Also, on your last photo, you said: "But still, despite the tubes, a little sound passes through the screws and the nails." Yes, that's predictable, and is called "flanking" Unless you use an isolation collar around your bolts (not screws), you will always have flanking. Also, those bicycle tubes are doing nothing useful for you: Its the wrong type of rubber, and unless you know the resilience characteristics, you can't even do the necessary calculations to figure out how much load you need, what surface area you need, and how much deflection that should produce. You should be using only EPDM rubber, or Neoprene rubber, or Sorbathane rubber, and in each case you must do the necessary calculations. If you do not calculate correctly, then the rubber itself will be a flanking path. It would be good if you could post the actual design for your studio, so we can check it for you, and see if there are any issues that could be improved. - Stuart -
