started framing the control room. thats about it so far.
some suggestions on going about everything else? how should i insulate the walls, is cement okay? etcetc
i am going to be recording live drums.
all styles but mainly metal and indie rock

Hi "ryanvegas". Please read the forum rules for posting (click here). You seem to be missing a couple of things! :)
Cement is not an insulator: It cannot be used to insulate. It can be used to isolate, however, which is a different thing. Did you mean "isolate" rather than "insulate"? It would also help if you described your situation fully, as well as your plans and your goals, and also provide a diagram of what you have currently, and what you have in mind as the final plan (or better still, a SketchUp model of that). - Stuart -how should i insulate the walls, is cement okay?
