Hello how are you guys doing? I need your guys help on building a great mixing room. I dont have experience in building studios but I am willing to give this one a try. The room will be in a room thats inside the basement. The floor is concrete floors. My measurements that I came up with floor to ceiling is 6 ft4 and width of the room is 4 ft 10. Where should I start is the problem Im having should I start with the walls and if so whats the best way to build the walls? and as mention before my floor is concrete so do I need a floating floor? any help is greatly appreciated and if its something i didnt mention please feel free to mention it.thank you guys in advance and I have also attached a picture of the room.

What you require is a larger room. Anything you do to this space will increase the ability of that small room to hurt your hearing. You do not need isolation and you sure as heck do not need a floating floor. What you want is to treat the IMMEDIATE transfer of sound from the walls to your ears.
Hi "Yaybo", and welcome to the forum! :) Unfortunately, Brien is right. That space is just too small to be able to do anything except add some treatment. There is no way you can add isolation walls there: You would lose at least 8 inches on each side. And the same for the ceiling: Your final room height would be way under six feet. It really isn't enough. With only 4'10" width, you won't be able to get the speakers far enough apart and far enough away from you to get a good stereo image and sound stage, and you won't be able to angle them correctly either. I would really suggest that you find another room, one that is much bigger and has a higher ceiling. - Stuart -
