A wall question

Exactly. That is John's "inside-out" wall design. Yes, you do have to build it lying down flat on the floor, then raise it into place. And it will be HEAVY! So get help to lift it, and work safely with lots of bracing and support, to prevent it from slipping or falling during the lift. - Stuart -

Thanks! Any reason I should choose Polyester insulation over fiberglass or rockwool?
Any reason I should choose Polyester insulation over fiberglass or rockwool?
I'm not aware of any research on the acoustic properties of polyester. I'm sure there is plenty of stuff out there, but I don't have any off hand, so I really can't tell you if it would be better or worse. Personally, I'd just go with the stuff that is known to work, and has been used successfully in many, many studios. - Stuart -
