Hello everyone hopefully I am putting this in the right place but I am trying to build my own vocal booth and was wondering if I could get some help with this because I know more go's into making one then I know. I was wanting to make the floor 4x6 and the walls 7 foot tall. I want to build the frame first and was wondering what king of wood should I use for the floor and should I drill holes in for my mic cords and what kind of wood should I use for the walls any help would be very much appreciated even if its just to point me in the right direction :)

Are you sure you need a booth?
Can the room you are in not be updated to give a better space for the sound?
