I'm having a very difficult time getting a good to any supportive bass from my speakers in the current position so I have been trying some different things. The bass sounds great everywhere else in the room if not too much in places. I am in the process of pulling everything out and starting over in this control room, can you take a look and offer any advise please.

Someone told me You should do a test, open every door in the room and check the bass again. I did the test, still the same but less bass overall in he room of course However, still very week in my mix position side of the room. I think it may be the cloud ? Took the Cloud out... the bass is still the same, but the overall sound got much worse... I now wonder if it's my desk acting like a bass trap in a non supportive way... I'm willing to do whatever at this point, should I can I soffit mount my speakers ?
Maybe you could provide some more information about your room? Such as dimensions, layout, the type of treatment you already have in there, the results of the tests you ran, where you ran them, how you ran them, (did you use REW for example, or something else?) etc. Also, please follow the forum rules on the size of images you post. One thing I noticed about your room, is that you don't seem to have any bass trapping at all in there, so that could certainly be an issue. Another is that you don't seem to be set up symmetrically, which also could be a big part of it: room symmetry is critical for a control room. Also, your speakers seem to be sitting directly on the desk, which is certainly not helping at all. There are a few other things that could be an issue, but those are the three big ones. Especially the lack of bass trapping: it is a small room so it will need lots of bass trapping, but there doesn't seem to be any at all. - Stuart -
