Hey all,
I am including some drawings. These are not complete, so no doors, windows, etc. I think you can aasume where they will be. i only am in need of size ideas.
What I have is a client that wants to build a facility in a free standing building. Cool I thought. Went down to florida to look at the space and found that i only have 10' from slab to ceiling joist. OK I can deal.
Here is the existing space. I dont have measure on existing, but i do on the proposed studio for the space. Please Steve, John, any body take a look at the measurements and tell me if i am in trouble. I think the ISO booth is good, the control is right on the edge, and the trqacking is in full MODE problem I believe. i will be adding panel traps, broadband stuff, and hanging traps to all rooms, but it doesnt help the situation.
if I indeed am in trouble please, please give me your ideas on how to fit these rooms into the space inside red sq. on existing.
Basically, it is 36ft. long by 12' deep. I can move the hallway back about three ft. to gain more room and have done so to get the 14' of control room that is there.
Thnks for all the help,
jai
Room Size - Modes - What do ya think here?

Jai - so you have a new one to build - how did the other one go??
I'd put a soundlock into the studio so it's private to the rest of the building and the left booth isn't worried about external noises from the hallway etc.

Hello John,
Do you use any specific software for these drawings?
Or do you know any basic software for room design?
Thanks,
Ilter
