Hello, I don't know who to talk to, so I try it here. I'm going to totally rebuild my studio, cause it's been built in 2003 out of a rehearsal room, the control and recording room have never been set up correctly. acoustically as well as regarding the design. Now it's time for a change. on a small budget, but there hast to be a change. The studio is situated i the basement. It used to be a garage. When finished, the studio should consist of 1 recording room for vocals and acoustic instruments, 1 recording room especially for good sounding wet drums - as far as this is possible because of the height of the ceiling - and 1 control room in the middle. Google Sketchup File: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3185475/PAB%20S ... 220412.skp In the attached Google Sketchup File are the 3 rooms I'm talking about. The one with the red carpet is the room for vocal and acoustic instruments, the one besides that is the control room, and the enclosed one should be the room for drums. the wall between the drum and control room could be moved if necessary. What I'm going to ask you now: What would be the best treatment for these different kind of rooms? The outer walls are made of Ytong stone, the wall between the acoustic instruments room and the control room is made of bakestone and all the other walls are made of plasterboard. Any help is appreciated. If you need more information, don't hesitate to contact me! Thank you in advance! Best regards, Daniel Bukowski
