Ideal Studio rooms

Hi there! Great site :) Im looking to build a small studio and are looking for a place to build it in. Is there any ideal sizes, shapes to look for! I need to build a controll room, live room, vocal booth. Ive seen a lot of guys here having ampbooths, is that for guitar and bass amps? Is that something that you would recommend? Looking forward to some tips on the room/rooms I should look for. Will get back when I found it :) /m
