Hi everyone,
I'm planning, after messing around in a small bedroom for years, to build my little studio.
I'm not rich so I prefer taking my time before to start off... to avoid making (expensive) mistakes.
This is why I wanted you guys to tell me what you think of this basic floorplan.
I'm sorry for my poor english, I'm Flemish, living in france.
Thanks verry much for your help....
Billy.
Your opinion on my studio project

looks like a decent floor - please reduce the image size to 700px wide though. also, plan on isolating the bathroom fully from the airlock/vocal booth.
Thanks for your post !
You're right, I was going to make that wall a bit larger....
Do you think the control room would be fine like this?
Building should start in september :yahoo:
Noboby?????
Billy, like Glenn said, your basic design looks good, and yes your control room looks OK.... so far. I think you just need to start fleshing things out a bit, with more details. I'd suggest that you could put that into 3D now, showing the details of the outer an inner leaves, the treatment, the layout of the equipment and furniture in the rooms, etc. Then post an update here, so we can take a look again, and maybe add more suggestions.
The good news is that threads were people seem to be doing fine often don't get too many comments, and that seems to be the case here. Nobody commented much, since you seem to be in the right track. Comments on the forum are sometimes like: "Why did you do that! Bad idea! Forget it! Fix it!" and suchlike. Lack of comments is a good sign! :)
But if you have specific questions that you are getting stuck on, then by all means ask about those!
