Hi, I am looking to build a professional studio in 2800 sq feet of space. The budget for my studio build is $90,000.00. I attached a sketchup I Started, and three photo's. These media illustrations should provide you with an overview of my rooms (layout, and proposed studio design). My proposed studio design is merely a thought; with that said, I am open to any design that allows for me to be able to record vocals, mix, and master audio on a professional level. Although my drawings do not illustrate the usage and placement of acoustic treatment, I am in great need of your expertise in this area as well. I need the best of the best to design a plan for me or help with the one I started. I need to incorporate the usage and placement of diffusers, absorption, and bass traps. My Company Divergent Music Group hopes to be the premier entertainment firm in Philadelphia With that being said, I need a studio design that will allow for me to achieve superb results when it comes to recording vocals, mixing, and mastering of audio! I would like to humbly thank, in advance, everyone who helps to make this project a success! This forum is a blessing. Thank you! Clarence Brown President of Production Divergent Music Group

Hi Clarence, and welcome! For that type of project, you might want to contact John directly, and ask him to quote to do the full design for your studio. Send him an e-mail or PM, and see if he is available to do that. Or if you prefer to do the design yourself with help from the folks here on the forum, then that's fine too! It's just that your requirements and goals suggest that you might fare better by paying someone to do the design for you, rather then spending a lot of time first learning the basics of acoustics, and of design, then spending the time to actually do the design. If you want it to be a world-class facility, then you probably should consider a world-class designer to design it, and John sure meets that definition! :) So contact him directly, and see what he says. (But if you do decide to take the DIY route, then we'll all be here to help you!) - Stuart -
