:D This forum is jam packed full of goodies! Been doing my research and am that much closer...however design has me stuck right now and i could use help.
The space is in the basement of a building-concrete floor with a ceiling height at about 7.5ft. There is drywall/insul all around including ceiling. I would like a booth for vocals and some live instr., control room with lounge/client area.
The space we have is 28ft(e/w) X 12ft(n/s) X 7.5 high. entrance door is on south wall near west wall and there is a door to additional storage area on the north wall near the east side of room.
I sent a very crude drawing attached- i'm fumbling thru that smart draw program still so my apologies and gratitude in advance.
tried to attach my file but got maxed out-what's the limit?
need design help

Dave, try saving as jpg - file size max is 150k per drawing, jpg's tend to be small enough to work. Also, try to scale it down enough so it's no more than about 700 pixels wide if you can - otherwise, it makes it necessary to scroll sideways to read the text in messages... Steve
Thanks-i'm very excited about getting started and appreciate input.
Its not the best jpeg-my apology
Well we've decided on working with the garage 2 plans. I think they'll work perfectly. We are plutting the control room at the south end of the space (12x28 ft)
My first question is about our entrance into the space. Since its on the rear wall, how should we design the diffusers/bass traps?(door is on S wall at E side)
thanks for any input.
