Attic Studio Build

Based on my design thread...viewtopic.php?f=1&t=16101 Demolition started today! Here’s some pics (via dropbox). The first favorite is the “shoot” used to get the debris out of the attic. It was a good thing I went over everything … turns out a sliding door won’t fit up the stairwell to the attic, nor through any of the windows. So, I’ll have to use a regular sized door -- but I want to keep the glass as this will be only view to the live room! Notice the old knob and tube electric … had a good meeting with the electrician this morning, who does electric for film and theatre productions, so he was ready and into the project … and it turns out his children go to the same school as mine! And a lot of the wood from around the doors and elsewhere came off real nice and will be usable for the build. http://www.dropbox.com/gallery/35365400 ... n?h=beb319

I would recommend keeping all your posts in one tread. Starting another thread defeats your purpose, makes us jump around, and is a disjointed approach not typically employed.
