hey guys, i was just wondering, if you could help me out here by givving me a ballpark on how much i would need to spend on the raw materials if i were to: build 2 rooms, roughly 4M x 5M X 2.7M the rooms will be build inside a large open space that is undercover, a large shed. i will be starting with a new floor floating on neoprene, and the rectangular shape will all be single wall with another internal to make the angles. insulation everywhere. i understand this is a very vague question and there are many variables, but i'm hoping from your experiences you could have a rough idea. is it doable for $10,000?

Agree with Glenn! :) To get a rough ball-park number on what it will cost: find the price for building or renovating a house in your area, per square meter. It will cost you about the same to build your studio, and probably a bit more. You say you have about 20 M^2 of space and about US$ 10,000 budget. That implies about US$ 500 per square meter. If that's roughly what it costs to build or renovate a house where you live, then that will most likely be fine for your studio. - Stuart -
