Hello everyone,
I have frequented this site many, many, many times. The help here has been invaluable. I've only posted a few times before because most any info you need is here in the stickys. Between the search function, stickys, and Rod's book I found answers to all the questions I had. Again, I just wanted to say thanks to all the people who give up their time to provide information on this site (you know who you are), and thanks to Rod for such a great book.
My studio, although somewhat small, is perfect for me. All the soundproofing I did, following the info here and Rod's book has worked beyond my expectations. I'm still doing a few thinks here and there for treatment, but i feel I'm getting pretty close. My mixes are translating better than they ever have and I feel they'll only get better.
I wish I could post pics from the beginning, but unfortunately, I never stopped to take pics. :( But, keep in mind this place started out in a 30x50 dirt floor open shop. I sectioned off part of it and went with it.
Now, lets see if I can figure out how to post some pics. :)
A BIG thank you!!!!!! With Pics!!

O.K., Having trouble posting pics. If someone wants to walk me through it..................
Keeps telling me file is too big.
Resize the picture.. :) Do you have a simple photo manipulation program on your computer? For example a free open source one, and almost comparable to Photoshop would be GIMP. 1. Download GIMP 2. Install it 3. Right click image (if you are on PC that is) and select Edit with GIMP 4. Go to "image" and select "scale image" 5. Enter width to be 700px 6. Scale Remember to save as a new file! In case you want to keep the original intact! And then try again :)Keeps telling me file is too big.
