Hello everybody. when i asked for help concerning room treatment i was linked to this forum, so i hope here i can get the answers im looking for. This is the floor plan of the apartment, the floor is a kind of mosaic made of marble pieces, the height is 3 m. Currently i have my speakers positioned the 'yellow' way because this way i have more room space, but im buying monitors soon and in order to place them properly i guess i'll have to position them the 'red' way. What kind of treatment could do for my situation? id appreciate it if you could tell me in details, where exactly should i put traps, what kind of traps and where, etc. thank you in advance

in the yellow position you will have an imbalance because your left hand side (facing the speakers) is wide open and therefore subject to the room response there. in the red position, assuming your intent is to put monitors off the wall facing the balcony, you will likely experience some LF response issues due to the SBIR from the front wall.
thanks gullfo, is there any solution for this? i cant position the monitors any other better way than "red". how should i treat the room in this case? any kind of info would be a great help for me
one option would be to extend the hallway wall on the left side of the yellow position to gain some symmetry there and then put some treatments on stands to put into place when needed.
